Have I been making things? Duh, of course I have.
Have I updated or documented any of it? NOOOPE.
So, you know. I’ve got that going for me.
TONS of experiments on the go, will start documenting some of this stuff sooner than later (my new workspace has, as usual, been filled with projects in various states of finished (or more aptly, unfinished) so of course, there’s too much shit in my workspace to effectively take photos and document.
What’s currently in the queue? Planters, both regular and miniature. Some macramé (surprisingly, I’ve never done macramé before)- I need some hanging thingies for my plants. I’ve got some knitting on the go, but that’s boring (unless you need some asmr knitting with the sound of my fish tanks bubbling in the background to fall asleep to, then.. maybe?) Ditto for the weaving. I can show the process, but generally after you’ve watched me warp my loom, you’re watching 8-12 hours of me moving a shuttle back and forth (with bonus footage of me complaining my back hurts). It doesn’t make for a riveting watch. Been working on some wire projects, though some of them are on hold waiting for my rocks to finish tumbling.
I suppose I could be a complete smartass and show a live feed of my rock tumbler spinning away for a week at a time before I switch the grit.
I could also have documented my dad and I installing the laminate floor in my office, but that would mostly be sawdust, swearing and sound effects.
There’s also the aquaponics tanks; one has plants and no fish yet, and the other has neither fish nor plants (so I guess technically it’s just a tank). Maybe I’ll document that setup. There’s also just the fish tank.
I’ve got a dice series I’m dying to try out based on a book series I really enjoy. Because why the fuck not?
I’ve made a lot of dice this year. But as a certified dice goblin, you can never have too many dice. Shiny rock go click clack.
I’ve got dragonscale coasters in the queue to try, if I can decide on the colour scheme (purple, green, blue, in some combination but then what? Silver? Gold? Which shades of colours should I use? Should I do them tonal, or change it up? SO MANY DECISIONS!).
The list goes on. I’ll get there. One project at a time.
